2020 being as it is. It is only fitting the election be total chaos.
My hearing was moved out of 2020. As it stands now it will be January 2021.
The delays have caused me harm as a couple of people have passed away recently. The judge is aware due to my filing to represent myself. I was frustrated over the delays and felt a lawyer was not clearly expressing to the DA my idea of how to compromise. After reaching an agreement with my lead counsel, I withdrew my request to rep myself. I am tired of all the delays. Most guys on death row want to delay and drag things out.

There is a saying about innocent versus guilty. They say the guilty lay down to sleep, the innocent crawl the walls with stress.
It is not absolute, but I fight like I am what I am. Innocent of this crime.
The fight goes on. As does lock down. šŸ™

The good news is that Merel passed the bar. I am very proud of her and knew she could do it. For a foreigner to be able to pass the Texas bar exam on the first try. That is a rarity. I think in one class was only one person that passed it last year or so. People go to law school in Texas for 4 years to be able to pass the bar. There is a language factor, plus being raised in a different type of system. She overcame astronomical odds to pass.
As also reported, the US foundation has also been established in Texas.
So some good things happening.

Alrighty then.
Take care, smile & strive for all you desire
I remain, in solidarity
