Smile Train

Smile train is the charity of my choice due to the fact that they help bring smiles to children’s faces all over the world.  In some countries such as India there is a caste systems in place that a person born there dies in that same social status.  Girls have it the worst.  They get married off to whom their family decides.  If the baby girl had a disfigured face then this could be like a natural death sentence for her.  The same with the Middle East in the more tribal areas.  I believe in life, when you are given too, you must give back.  Through time people have more often than not told me that what caught their attention was my physical appearance.  This has helped to open doors for me in my efforts on my case and raising awareness to the flaws of the justice system. 

I feel it is very important to return this blessing to those that need it around the world.  Nothing warms the heart like a child’s smile.  As much as I would love to be able to stop the forced marriage of women around the world.  It is something I can’t do.  I can however help to make sure they can have a beautiful smile, so as to help ease some of their adversity from life. 

Smile train conducts these operations for very little money.  So dollar for dollar it is the best that helps children.  One dollar from every DVD or poem book that is bought on my site, will be going to smile train.
