Paul Hallmark
Crime Scene Investigator-Midland County
Investigator Paul Hallmarks testimony resulted in at least one jury member complaining to the sheriff about the poor investigation.
His testimony clearly shows how understaffed and under-funded the sheriff’s department is.
His testimony makes it clear how sloppily that he performed the investigation. Every test that could have helped to exonerate Clinton was never done. The only things that were done, were things that were needed to help support David Page’s version of the murder.
Clinton’s attorney actually provided Mr.Hallmark with the filter needed to take the photos in trace metal testing as you will read in the following pages.
This filter was brought for only $10.00 at a local store, it is a simple lens that snaps onto the end of the camera, yet the sheriff’s office didn’t have this tool.
The cameras that they made were cheap and outdated. They didn’t use video cameras that were available to them. In Paul Hallmarks testimony the prosecutor attempted to bring out that a trace metal test was done that proved that Clinton held a gun. Though you will read how they didn’t even perform that test correctly. After Clinton’s attorney successfully showed where Mr. Hallmark failed to properly do the test, the prosecutor then stated “Well aren’t we not even supposed to be using this in court?”
Yet this is the same prosecutor that brought this out in court to be used!
