Clinton Young on Death Row - innocent on death row

One of my past blog’s was returned to me as my friend had her new PO box number wrong :) So it just recently got posted. It was the one about Joshua Maxwell’s execution.

Been some interesting developments. Hank Skinner got a stay at the last minute. There is a great deal of evidence in his case, that has not been tested yet. If he is innocent or not they should have tested everything. It surely seems that he is innocent!

One of the key elements is that it is clear that the victim fought back and the medical examiner told the DA that they needed to bag the victim’s hands and check the suspect for scratches as soon as they got him into custody. They arrested Hank 4 hours later and took pictures and it seems that there was no scratches on him.

There is so much more. Hank got a stay due to action he took in civil court. This is something I really want everyone to pay attention and to think about. Hank got a stay at 5:20pm. 40 minutes before he was to be strapped to a gurney and killed.

Had Hank not had knowledge of the law, support group to make noise, and the money raised to hire a civil lawyer, Hank Skinner would be dead right now!!

If the DNA evidence, if he is able to test it and it comes back to clear him, then that means that Texas was within 40 minutes of killing another innocent man! And that ONLY by the efforts of his loved ones was he spared death!

I mean, really think about that. If he didn’t take the time to learn the law, didn’t have the friends he did, and wasn’t able to raise the funds for the lawyer to file the suit. He would be dead, dead, dead!

His case is of great interest to me as I as well am trying to get stuff tested. I don’t have DNA issues. I have ballistics and other forensic science issues. I got the ballistic tests already that show that I didn’t do it. So now I just need to get the rest.

Anyways, from now on, I am on a mission. I have worked hard in the past, but not hard enough! I am working on getting national justice rallies set up, as well as International Rallies.

I am done focusing on stupid stuff. I have already veni, I done vidi, so now it is time to vici! One of my past blogs stirred up some dust about my comments about people that write multiple people. I didn’t go into enough detail when I wrote that. There is a great deal of people that write to many people as a “hobby.” My position is that when I am a hobby. I ain’t ya pet. I do not write to people that write to numerous people “here,” as it ALWAYS leads to drama! It never fails. I seen best friends wanting to kill each other over it! It isn’t happening with me! I’m on a mission, as I wrote. I don’t have time to worry about idiots in here that just want to run their mouth or pen pals that want to repeat all they are told as if it is a fact and gossip. It happens. Now that does NOT apply to everyone!!! I never once indicated that it does. Look, let me give an example. I am at visit with Katie. She goes to get me some snacks at the vending machine. So I am sitting there and I heard someone talking about a guy in TYC at like 14 years old and only being out of TYC like 9 months. I start thinking “Huh, that sounds like my life story.” So I listen a little closer, and sure enough the dude is telling his pen pal “my” whole damn life story! Of course he added some twists and turns and got many facts wrong, but I went off on him because at one point, his pen pal, I think knows my ex. They live in the same country. Well he told his pen pal that when Vera came to see me she left her jacket and that I said “Bitch left her jacket.” So if his pen pal repeats that, it could lead to a whole bunch of drama. NOW I am not worried about it developing as Vera knows it is extremely RARE for me to call a women a bitch! Her and I done had some drag down arguments and only twice in a straight up rage filled heat of the moment did I call her out of her name. That was 2 times to many. I don’t believe in calling a women, more so one that I am in a relationship with such foul names. What I said was “bitch!” and a guy I kick it with said “whats up?” then I said, “my chick forgot her shawl!!” Everyone heard how I said it, clear as day! Well the dude sat there and lied to his pen pal and told her his own version. Why? Well he said “she came all this way to see me and I talked about her like that.” So this makes me look bad and makes him look morally superior. Tear down another to lift himself up. Which shows that persons nature. It is stuff like that right there that puts a bad taste in a person’s mouth about writing people that write others here. No on in here is perfect, but I am not going to sit here and tear people down.

I don’t have time to focus on bullshit! My thought on the dude that was telling his visitor stuff about me is this right here. He gots a state trying to kill him. Why the hell he worried about me? Now I could easily get out there, mention something that I know and it would put him in a bad position. But I try to have a little something called class. I don’t get out here on the net of with pen pals and focus on what seperates all of us. I focus on what unites us! I fight for change and reform that impacts us all!

Plain and simple, I am not a toy and no one is going to play with me. I got people trying to kill me. My number one goal is living. I have seen over a hundred people leave to be executed. I had to watch my homeboys mother wave to her son, as he was being cuffed to be led off to be killed. That shit ain’t happening to me. I refuse to accept that fate! So if people want to help fight for a change and or help save my life, then all aboard. If your looking for a hobby, then go get some goldfish. As far as people in here. I don’t care if someone is my enemy. If I know they are legit and they carry themselves with some honor an integrity. I don’t care how much I don’t like them, I wouldn’t mind helping them.
As what goes on in here, I keep in here. That is because prison is a different world. Most cant understand it. Plus I got to live in this miserable ass place, I surely don’t want to write and talk about it all day. That is why I don’t focus my blogs on this place all the time. I don’t write my letters about this place all the time. As I do NOT like this place and do not want to stay here. If I just focus on here, then I will not be able to change my situation. So I focus on “out there,” where all you readers are, as that is where I am trying to get! And I need help getting there!

Hank was 40 minutes from dying! I am not trying to get that close! I’m too close as it is. I don’t write many blanket statements here. My position is always if it doesn’t apply, let it fly.

Onto positive meaningful stuff. More people are getting on board for the national rallies in July and International rallies in August. So that is good. I see my lawyer soon. (Monday April 5) He didn’t make it last time due to some last minute issues that popped up. I should see him in a week. Then I will have more answers.

I have started writing my book reviews so please check them out on my website. I have many more to write. I only have gotten 2 written so far. It helps people get a better understanding of me. As well as learn about other books and see the wide range of topics that interest me. There is still more updates and legal work being done to my site. I got to raise $1,335.00 to get everything done to my site that I need and want done. There is LOTS more to do!

My poem book should be finished soon.
